DG32C Elevating platform fire truck is a multi-purpose fire fighting vehicle, which is hydraulic driven, full-rotary, telescopic boom + folding arm type, equipped with a fire fighting and rescue ladder. The chassis adopted in this truck is Germany Benz Axor 2628 universal II chassis, which has three sections of synchro
nous telescopic boom and one section of folding arm, head of the folding arm is pivoted on working platform. Fire system pipeline and rescue ladder are both fixed at the right side of telescopic boom, which will telescope together with the movement of boom; the dual-cylinder luffing, H mode outriggers can achieve 360° rotation; it's equipped with a complete set of safety protective devices. The overall truck can be respectively operated on turntable and platform.

5. This truck has a slewing buffer function. Slewing mechanism co
nsists of the planetary gear reducer and the co
nstant closed-type brake. Co
nstant displacement motor drives external-geartypesingle-row ballslewingbearing. A cushion valve is adoptedin hydraulic systemto ensure stability when being started up and being braked, so that a good jiggle characteristic is then guaranteed.

nents
1. Telescopic Boom and Telescoping Mechanism
It is box-type synchro
nous telescopic boom, made of high strength steel plate, whose cross-section shape is great circle arc quadrilateral. The synchro
nous telescopic mechanism is double-acting cylinder plus chain, which has overcome joggle phenomena and increased vehicle stability.
2. Crank arm and Platform
Crank arm cross-section is quadrilateral; the double-acting cylinder and four-bar l
inkage enable it to fold within 180°range. The platform is a f
rame structure made of shape steel, rotary within 45°leftward and rightward, and a remote water mo
nitor with co
ntrol unit is installed on it.
3. Leveling Mechanism
Leveling mechanism is electric zero cover plus closed-loop hydraulic servo system, which ensuresthat overall vehicle always remains level in working status; besides, a manual leveling mechanism is set up.
4. Turntable
As the turntable is a co
nnecting compo
nent between the pceding and the following, it is high pivoted in a plate-type f
rame; the slewing mechanism is located in front of turntable, amplitude cylinder is inside of vertical plate, a co
nsole is set at the left side. Slewing bearing is co
nnected with auxiliary f
rame. The slewing mechanism co
nsists of hydraulic motor and planetary acceleration mechanism; high-pssure hydraulic oil drives hydraulic motorandenables planetary deceleration mechanism to have 360° co
ntinuous rotation through gear and slewing bearing.
5. Central Rotary Body
Central rotary body co
nsists of fixed body, rotary body and electric circuit slip ring, through which hydraulic pssure, electric circuit and water piping are co
nnected from the upper structure to lower structure.
6. Water Piping System
Fire system piping is stainless suit type synchro
nous telescopic pipeline; water pipe reaches the upper structure by pass ofcentral rotary body and starts to supplywater or foam. A hydraulic fire water mo
nitor installed on work platform is developed by American Darley Company, the flow is 50L/s and spray range is over 65m, water flow form is changeable (straight water flow and dome of water).

8. Upper Structure Hose and Cable Device
Crank arm head and platform power as well as co
ntrol signal are transmitted from the hose and cable which are located at left side of telescopic boom. The hose and cable are fixed o
nto chain groove and can slide with the movement of telescopic boom.
9. Chassis:
The genuine German Benz Axor 2628 II chassis is adopted within the vehicle, which has 16 forwarding gears and 2 reverse gears, the max. speed can reach 85km/h, 6-cylinder V shape inter-cooling boost engine, power is 280 horsepower and the emission reaches Euro IIIstandard, equipped with ABS and automatic navigation function, co
ntrolled by electric module, hydraulic assisted gear shift, gear engagement is accurate, stable and reliable.
10. Power take-off Device
The function is to transfer engine power from transmission PTO to hydraulic pump; as the power source of overall hydraulic system, it can achieve all kinds of movements forhydraulic system, the power take-off device is the genuine part of Benz chassis.

This vehicle has a complete set of safety protective deviceswhich ensures working reliability, and a lighting device is set for co
nvenience of night operation.
1. Anti-collision device:
Anti-collision comes into play when work platform collides with obstacles, it will automatically stop and protect the platform and staff from beingdamaged.
2. Extreme position stop device:
It will automatically stop when telescopic boom elevation reaches the maximum degree.
3. Upper/lower structure interlocking function:
Upper structure fails to operate if outriggers are not in working status. Outriggers can be retracted o
nly when upper structure comes into driving status.
4. Leveling Device:
Chassis can automatically and manually level the vehicle by means of a level gauge, the platform can be automatically leveled, when platform tilting angle exceeds 10°, upper structure will stop all the movements.
5. Working Range Limiter:
It can ensure that the vehicle is working within safety range, when it exceeds working range, vehicle movements will stop.
6. Single-side Working Protection:
When it's not allowed to fully extend the outrigger beams, this function can ensure that the vehicle can operateon the side at whichoutrigger beams are fully extended.
7. Emergency Power Unit:
A petrol engine pump is equipped in the vehicle, which will power up the vehicle to make all kinds of movements as a standby power unit on the occasion that engine fails to work.
